Year 2005, the first (maybe the last) animated short Lego film with my brother: Goodman vs Sticked’s Gang. A kind of good guy vs bad guy parody. Stopmotion is more like a dummy technique because it has a rope. At the beginning of the film, the big producer, director, voice actors are a sign of how enthusiastic we were at this moment. We used webcam as a camera, Windows XP MovieMaker as a program, and computer keyboard as a decor.
– Aaaaa! Sticked and his gang !
– Yees, we are. Give us your money!
– But I do not have any money!
– Then we will beat you!
Immersive dialogues, high-budget decor, full of emotion, a script of frivolity. I’m afraid that all the movies I make after that will stay in the shade of it.
I am laughing whenever I watched. I wish we had more Lego movies at that time, but we did not. My little brother grew up, I did other works, the rest was sweet memories. By the way we are in IMDb with the title of Goodman vs Sticked’s Gang (2005)
